Located in the Foscoe community of the North Carolina Mountains, this lovely vineyard is on a mountain side with a beautiful stream running through it. High In the background you can see a perfect profile of “Grandfather Mountain,” which is a state park and popular tourist attraction. The Vineyard is a perfect place to spend the afternoon. There is a “tasting” room with samples of numerous local wines grown and produced at the vineyard. When I was there, I saw a number of folks sitting by the stream dangling their feet in the crystal clear water while sipping their wine.
