My medium is watercolors. My inspiration is all around me.
Having been raised on a tobacco farm in Southeastern North Carolina, I am proud to claim true low country heritage. As a child, I enjoyed sketching the things around me; the farm life, the barns, the classic low country fishing boats and the colorful people who worked on them. My passion for sketching eventually led to a career in advertising. After graduating from Ringling School Of Art, I did further studies at Roosevelt University and the American Academy of Art. Having now retired after over 40 years in the ad industry, I returned to my roots in the low country and to the pursuit of art. Low Country Watercolors are my passion.
